What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an XPO Driver, and why are they important?

To thrive as an XPO Driver, you need a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices, and freight handling equipment is typically required. Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills help drivers meet delivery schedules and interact effectively with clients. These skills and qualities are crucial for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of goods for XPO Logistics.

What are XPO drivers?

XPO drivers are professional truck drivers employed by XPO Logistics, one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the world. They are responsible for safely transporting goods and freight over short or long distances, typically using tractor-trailers or other commercial vehicles. XPO drivers may work in various roles, such as less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload, or last-mile delivery services. Their duties include loading and unloading cargo, following safety regulations, maintaining driving logs, and ensuring timely deliveries. XPO values safety, reliability, and customer service in their drivers.
