Work you'll do/Responsibilities  

The project focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing middleware solutions that connect banking applications, databases, APIs, messaging platforms, and other enterprise systems.

The Consultant will contribute to integration delivery across TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks environments, including BW 5.x, BW 6.x, and BusinessWorks Container Edition. The role requires collaboration with distributed teams and flexibility to align working hours with Eastern or Central time zones.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integrations using TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.x, 6.x, and/or BusinessWorks Container Edition.
  • Develop and support RESTful and SOAP-based web services for secure and reliable communication across enterprise applications.

  • Monitor integration flows and troubleshoot production issues, including latency, memory leaks, thread contention, and message-processing failures.
  • Tune TIBCO engine and JVM parameters to improve integration performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement robust error-handling, logging, alerting, retry, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Support software delivery automation using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or comparable CI/CD tools.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and apply established integration design patterns, coding standards, and quality practices.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in professional software engineering, enterprise application integration, middleware development, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience developing integrations with TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.x and/or 6.x, including hands-on experience with TIBCO Enterprise Message Service.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST and SOAP web services using HTTP/S, FTP, and SFTP.
  • 3+ years of experience working with XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, JSON, WSDL, and complex data transformation or mapping requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating middleware solutions with enterprise databases using SQL, stored procedures, or database triggers, and supporting CI/CD delivery through tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
