US Restricted / Citizen NOC Engineering Position:

NOC Technicians are the tier 1 team within the NOC.?They will be the first point of contact for all clients that Configure Inc. supports. Our customers will reach us via phone, email, or via submitting a case within our tool. Working in the NOC provides the employee with the opportunity for technology specific training and hands-on experience with several platforms, including SDWAN, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and others. NOC Technicians should have good customer communication skills that allow them to gather evidence from the person reporting the problem or from our tools with the goal of working problems and requests quickly to restoration/resolution. Key Skills for the position will include a basic understanding of networking, good communication skills, basic understanding of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Xcel, Word), teamwork and willingness to learn/train and be part of a team.

NOC Technician?s job description, such as but not limited to:

-Working knowledge of supported network technologies & hardware systems, troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal network performance?

-Basic knowledge of networking concepts, protocols and network monitoring tools.?

-Analytical and problem-solving skills.? Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve customer issues.?

-Excellent communication abilities.? Used to interact with team members, management, and customers for network-related tasks and report network incidents.?

-Detail-oriented skills for technical summaries, next steps, action plans. Create, update, and contribute to Network Documentation needs.?

-Good teamwork skills to collaborate with other network professionals in maintaining the network infrastructure.?

-Capability to work under pressure, manage emergencies and handle stressful situations effectively.?

-Willingness to work in shifts as NOC Engineers often need to provide 24/7 support.?
-Be an example of professional excellence between team members and other support.

-Great management of time. There will be moment when multiple tickets come in. It would be up to the NOC Technician to handle all of them in a timely manner or escalate if additional help is needed.
