We are seeking a Program Manager, Professional Services to lead market research and drive strategic development, marketing expansion and further revenue growth for AP's suite of products and services primarily serving professional communicators, including AP Learning online workshops, AP Planner planning tool and AP Stylebook writing guidance. The role is central to AP's efforts toย diversifyย its customer base and revenue streams.ย 

This roleย is responsible forย understanding and helping grow engagement,ย subscriptionsย and overall knowledge of the AP Professional Services, including cross-sell and cross-promotional opportunities.ย 

The role requires close collaboration across various global teams, including others in products as well as technology, marketing, strategy,ย revenue,ย and editorial.ย 

What you will do:ย ย 

  • Lead program management for products in the AP Professional Services suite.ย 

  • Build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders at all levels andย facilitateย collaboration among diverse teams, internally and externally.ย 

  • Analyze data, assess risks, and resolve complex issues to advanceย the developmentย of each product.ย 

  • Liaise and drive cohesion between groups, driving clear communication, accountability, and transparency.ย ย 

  • Influence and communicate with internal/external stakeholders, including executive leadership, to gain buy-in and report on value.ย 

  • Drive execution, oversee program lifecycle, track progress, manage budgets, assess risks, and ensureย timely, quality delivery.ย 

  • Collaborate with leadership to define program strategies, set goals, and align tech programย objectivesย with overall business goals.ย ย 

  • Provide clear reporting as defined by key stakeholders, including bi-weekly updates and monthly and quarterly reports.ย 

Who you are:ย 

  • 5+ years' experience managing and overseeing strategic projects, definingย objectives, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.ย 

  • Understandingย and passion for the AP's mission.ย ย 

  • Proven success collaborating with all levels of management.ย 

  • Strong understanding of the media industry and the needs of professional communicators.ย 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.ย ย 

  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and other external partners.
  • Proactive,ย organized,ย and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects and issues at once.ย ย 

  • Meticulous attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.ย ย 

  • Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members' capabilities and skill sets.ย 

  • Strong working knowledge of PM and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Basecamp)ย 

  • Advanced-level professional competency in written and spoken English language isย required.ย 

  • Authorization to work in the US for any employer is mandatory.ย

Salary & Benefits:ย
