We need our engineers to be versatile and enthusiastic to tackle new problems. You must be able to think through hard problems and work with a team to make them reality. As a Senior Software Engineer for our client you will be responsible for the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Efficiently designs, writes, and re-factors application software according to specifications and established team coding standards
• Performs quality Xamarin (Xamarin.Forms/Xamarin.Android) mobile software development
• Performs quality full-stack software development including areas of front-end web, API, Azure, and database development
• Writes unit and integration tests on new and existing software programs for the purposes of reducing code regression errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
• Assists in leading and executing multiple concurrent projects and utilizes effective time management, planning, and communication skills to collaborate with engineers and other team members
• Leads and assists in efforts to troubleshoot software applications to isolate the source of a problem and provides satisfactory resolution so that the application meets availability and quality standards
• Researches emerging software development technologies and/or methodologies, develops standards and processes to facilitate the use of cutting edge programming languages, development tools and programming methodologies, and implements technology and processes for increasing productivity and reducing costs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required (Master's preferred)
• Development and delivery experience with Xamarin, Android, C# .NET, Java, Web API, Entity Framework, Web Services, and SQL
• Experience with back-end development using Microservices, Micro-ORM's, Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Java/Hibernate
• Experience with front-end development using Angular, AngularJS, and MVC
• Azure experience in Azure SQL DB, App Services, Azure Storage Tables, Event Hub, Notification Hub, IoT Hub, and Functions
• Have helped develop scalable, custom-built object-oriented applications
• Great Cloud Native skills and strong design patterns knowledge
• Experience working with including Scrum and Kanban
• Ability to be flexible in a variety of roles in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong experience with software best practices including test driven development and continuous integration
• A passion to learn diverse technologies and directly impact customer experience
• You will work exclusively at the company headquarters in San Antonio, applying your delivery and development skills
