What is an X Ray welder?

X Ray Welders are skilled professionals who specialize in welding joints or components that require a high level of precision and integrity, often inspected using X-ray technology. Their work is critical in industries like aerospace, shipbuilding, and pipelines, where welds must meet strict safety and quality standards. X Ray Welders must understand various welding techniques and be able to interpret X-ray images to ensure their welds are free of defects. They often hold certifications and adhere to rigorous safety protocols during their work.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an X Ray welder, and why are they important?

To thrive as an X Ray Welder, you need advanced welding skills, a thorough understanding of welding codes, and certification such as AWS or ASME, along with experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
