Location: Waimea, HI 96796
Facility: Kauai Veteran's Memorial Hospital
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Shift Details:
  • Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
  • Rotating Day & Night Shifts
  • Weekends, Holidays, and On-Call Coverage Required
  • Must be Flexible with Scheduling
Compensation:
  • Pay Rate: $70.00 – $78.00 per hour
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment at Kauai Veteran's Memorial Hospital in beautiful Hawaii. The selected candidate will perform both CT and X-Ray imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and diagnostic X-Ray procedures accurately and safely
  • Operate imaging equipment independently
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging quality
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital policies
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
  • Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist
  • Active ARRT (CT) Certification
  • Current BLS/BCLS Certification
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Must reside within 20 minutes of the hospital while on-call
