Job description

** OPTION OF 13 or 26 week contract ** THURS/FRI/SAT 630pm to 7am

Position/Specialty: X-ray Tech Years of Experience req: Minimum 2 years preferred; 1 year accepted if has experience full-time at a Level 1 trauma and Children's Hospital, with demonstrated OR and Fluoroscopic study experience.

Weekend Requirement: None On Call Requirement: No RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission. Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking.

Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Accept First-Time Travelers: No Locals Accepted?

Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria Pending License Accepted: No. Must have active SCRQSA license

Required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS Summary of Skills: Skilled in acute care imaging, including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR. Proficient in bedside/portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow/esophagram. Able to perform all aspects of X-ray independently. Ability to adapt to equipment-specific training as needed.

Experience

Required:

Level 1 trauma & Children's Hospital experience required for 1-year candidates. Floating: Yes. Floating required per Prisma Health policy. Staff may float to other units/campuses based on census and only to units they are qualified for and trained in. Charting: Epic experience required Hospital Highlights: Prisma Health Richland Hospital is a regional acute care teaching hospital located in Columbia, SC.
