Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School Services

Locations: Saint Helens, John Day, Medford, and Lake Oswego, Oregon
Start Date: Immediate openings starting this month
Employment Type: Local and Travel Contracts Available
Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available (based on district and location needs)

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide behavioral support services within school settings across Oregon. Opportunities are available in Saint Helens, John Day, Medford, and Lake Oswego. Both local and travel contract positions are available, with all assignments beginning this month.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Educational Services (ES) provides consultation, training, behavioral evaluations, and develops and implements behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral deficits. The BCBA serves as a clinical educator who assesses, observes, supervises, and supports behavioral service delivery within educational environments to promote student success.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide consultation and behavioral support to teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
  • Train school personnel and caregivers on evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret student behavioral data to guide treatment planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes.
  • Observe educational settings and provide recommendations to improve behavioral programming.
  • Ensure compliance with school district policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance related to behavioral service delivery when appropriate.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and consultations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - required.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Teaching, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services within school settings.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric experience.
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable.
  • Current health certificate as required by contract and/or state regulations.
  • Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
  • Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, emotional disturbance, and other behavioral challenges.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
