As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Wailuku, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government district court location, you will help maintain a secure and welcoming environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily court operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific, security-related screening procedures and policies.
  • Screen individuals and belongings entering the facility using assigned screening equipment and established procedures, helping to identify prohibited or unauthorized items.
  • Verify access credentials as applicable and direct visitors to appropriate entry points, courtrooms, and public service areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and promptly report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
