To thrive as an X-Ray Imaging Technologist, you need a solid understanding of human anatomy, radiographic techniques, and safety protocols, typically supported by an associate's degree in radiologic technology and ARRT certification. Familiarity with digital imaging systems, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and radiation safety equipment is essential. X Ray Imaging professionals, often called radiologic technologists or radiographers, are healthcare workers trained to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. Their primary role is to create images of the inside of the body, which help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.
