Position Summary:
Field Service Engineers provide on-site installation, repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of all Stereotaxis technology in hospital surgical environments, along with remote diagnosis and support of these activities.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, install, repair, modify, and perform preventative maintenance of all Stereotaxis technology
• Interface with customers to obtain accurate details of the equipment service needs and provide updates regarding the progress of the service/installation
• Create or modify service documentation such as installation, service, periodic maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals
• Maintain reporting documentation to ensure compliance with company and government requirements. Examples include expense reports, field service reports, complaint handling, etc.
• Perform remote support and diagnosis when not actively deployed in the field

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
• Associates degree in electronics or relevant technical subject preferred
• 1-3+ years' experience in field service position highly preferred
• 1-3+ years' experience with diagnosis and repair of electromechanical systems highly preferred
• Experience working in a diagnostic x-ray environment and catheter lab environment highly preferred
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and make business decisions to maintain customer satisfaction and escalate problems in a timely manner
• Good communication skill, including ability to communicate appropriately with customers, required
• Ability to make repairs at a component level, if required
• Windows experience including TCP/IP protocols highly preferred
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Work Conditions:
This role is a field position and requires approximately 50-100% travel including occasional weekend travel. This role must be able to provide after-hours technical support, must be able to lift 40lbs, and must be able to work around magnetic fields.
