About the Role
An established and fast-growing service organization is seeking a Team Lead Imaging Field Service Engineer to oversee a skilled field engineering group in the Chicago metro area. The role offers a dynamic mix of leadership, hands-on technical work, and collaboration with a range of clinical and institutional partners.
This position involves direct responsibility for advanced diagnostic imaging systems, including MRI, CT, and PET-CT, and includes oversight of daily service operations, tooling strategies, and performance development across multiple customer environments.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a regional team of imaging field service engineers
Manage diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance across assigned equipment
Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies, healthcare providers, and partner networks
Contribute to tooling selection and service process enhancement
Track and report on service performance, staffing, and ongoing training needs
Your Background
Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical imaging field service (MRI, CT, or PET-CT)
Proven leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience in a technical service setting
Confident working with digital tools and diagnostic software
Able to operate independently while aligning with broader organizational goals
