Position Summary: The primary objective of the Manufacturing Technician (part-time) is to assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products while meeting quality and productivity goals, within a medical device manufacturing work environment

This person would work closely with fellow team members, the area Lead, and the supervisor to achieve quarterly team performance goals in the areas of Efficiency, On Time Delivery, Hours Reporting Accuracy, Scrap, and Inventory Accuracy. Essential Responsibilities: Assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products according to work instructions, drawings, Bills of Materials, and wire diagrams per GMP Operate and set up (as needed), production equipment/fixtures, as well as use of basic hand tools, electronic and electrical testing devices Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety, and productivity in a medical device atmosphere Assist Senior Technicians in testing and validation of final assemblies Assist Senior Technicians and Engineering staff in planning/development of new product prototypes Initiate basic material requests, report quality issues, report efficiency, record measurements Maintain the accuracy of identification and count of point-of-use materials. Accurately determine and report material shortages.
