Job description

Job Summary: Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography as well as breast localizations and specimen x-ray. Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures. Maybe required to staff the Mobile Mammography Coach and provide coverage for mobile events, some of which are outside routine business hours. Meet MQSA and ACR requirements. Maintain < 2.5% repeat rate. Perform spot magnification and compression views as needed. Properly place films on multiviewer for interpretation. Maintain accurate complete information /records for MQSA and ACR. Accurate and thorough documentation of patient record in the organization's electronic health record system.
Qualifications: Graduate of accredited radiography program. Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography. Minimum 6 months experience in mammography. Maintain CE requirements in field of mammography as well as Radiology. No lifting greater than 20 pounds required. Occasional push-pull, of stretchers. Limited overhead work required. Ability to organize and maintain supply inventory. Some computer skills required. Through knowledge of testing procedures related to mammography, including sterile procedures.
