Job Description
The Encore Beach Club Lifeguard is responsible for providing professional and courteous customer service to each and every guest, while also maintaining the aquatic safety of all guests. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards.
Job Duties:
  • Consistently delivering exceptional service to every guest
  • Ensure safety is a priority in accordance to Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid Certifications
  • Adhere to and enforce company specific safety policies
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around all swimming areas
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health standards
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
  • Responsible for the daily set up of the pool deck before the venue opens
  • Responsible for the daily breakdown of the pools and pool deck as the venue closes
  • Follow all designated emergency procedures
  • Always provide visual surveillance of the pools and surrounding areas
  • Assist guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessary
  • Attend required trainings
  • Assist other departments as necessary

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to communicate in English with guests and other team members
  • Must be able to work efficiently within a team environment
  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun
  • Must adhere to both company and department specific policies and procedures
  • Embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and amenities
  • Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene deemed by management
  • Possession of /or ability to possess a valid certification from the American Red Cross in CPR
  • Possession of /or ability to possess a valid Lifeguard training and First Aid Certification
  • Possession of /or ability to possess a valid Nevada Health Card
