Job Description
World Series of Poker Dealers are hired for the annual 7.5-week tournament. This position is fulltime. Dealers must demonstrate strong game knowledge, accuracy in managing bets, pots, and side-pots, and the ability to follow direction quickly in a fast-paced environment. You'll run games according to established tournament rules and procedures while providing professional, fair, and customer-focused service. As the face of the tournament, dealers must uphold exceptional standards of competence, judgment, and integrity.
Responsibilities
• Deal every assigned game in a friendly and fast manner
• Politely answers questions and explains rules and procedures to players
• Create a fun and exciting environment for players with a friendly and upbeat attitude
• Follow standard gaming protection protocol to protect both the integrity of the game as well as company property
• Interact with all Team members with a respectful and professional attitude
• Follow all directions from Supervisors and Floor team to create a well-run and organized tournament
• Maintain responsibility for assigned game as well as all gaming implements, and equipment
• Presents a neat, professional appearance and practices good personal hygiene at all times
• Reports in a timely manner for all assigned shifts and leaves promptly when dismissed
• Accurately and quickly completes calculations for pots and rakes
Qualifications
• Must be 21 years or older (no application will be accepted by anyone under 21years at the date of submission)
• Obtain a Nevada Gaming License before employment (employer will provide guidance)
• Must pass an audition through an approved school or with the WSOP dealer manager OR have successfully dealt a Las Vegas WSOP event in the last five years.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to remain composed and patient while assisting difficult guests
• Must speak, and understand English
• High energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding guest experiences
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Required In-person processing must be complete before being able to work
• Must attend a WSOP dealer Orientation session in 2026 (an orientation is required yearly)
• Be able to report for shifts in person at the WSOP event venue Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas
• Provide personal housing
• All dealers must submit an application
