What are WSIs (Whole Slide Images)?

WSIs, or Whole Slide Images, are high-resolution digital scans of entire microscope slides, commonly used in pathology and medical research. These digital images allow pathologists and researchers to view, share, and analyze slides virtually, rather than relying solely on physical glass slides and microscopes.
