To ensureoptimumcustomer service,we arehiring a Service Writer to work one-on-one with our clients.Your job will be to advise customers on the available parts and service optionsfor their equipment.We count on you to take advantage of our training, gain extensive productknowledge,and serve all customers with a friendly smile and honest guidance.We offer in-house training and support as well as competitive compensation.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet customersandmaintainapositive customer relationshipthroughout the entire experienceto ensure repeat business.

  • Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs.

  • Schedule all service work and providesupervision of administrationand warranty.

  • Communicate with the Partsteam for thetechnicians'parts needsand verify that the parts are entered properly on service orders.

  • Communicate effectively to customersregardingtechnicians'findings.

  • Maintain and manage workload in a fast-paced work environment with an emphasis on multi-tasking.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Mostworking hours are spent sitting down and working on a computer.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but is right off the shop floorsocan occasionally be loud.

The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up totwentypounds.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position.

Job Requirements:

  • Previousexperience working in automotive or construction industry preferred.

  • Excellent customer service,interpersonal, and communication skills(verbal and written).

  • Must be able to manage heavy phone volume with great data entry skills while paying close attention to details.

  • Have strongorganizationalskills, attention to detail,andan elevated levelof competence with computer related programs.

  • Be professional and hard working with a customer-friendly approach to service.

  • Be comfortable working in a team setting.

  • Must be able tolearncompanydesignatedsoftware within a reasonable amount of time allotted.

Reports to:Service Department Manager

Expected Hours of Work:

The Bobcatis open 5 days per week (M - F). Times will vary throughout the year, but retail hours are M-F (7am to 5pm).
