Branch Manager | Broward County, Florida

$70,000 Base Salary + $40,000 or More in Annual Incentive Potential

Gateway Dealer Network recently expanded into Florida through the acquisition of Smith Brothers Equipment, an established construction equipment dealer with four South Florida locations. We are looking for a hands-on Branch Manager to lead our Broward County operation and help us build on the relationships, people, and reputation already in place.

This is not a regional or corporate management position. It is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business, leading a local team, serving customers, and taking ownership of the branch's results.

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the location, including sales, service, parts, rental, customer satisfaction, employee development, and profitability. You will have the support and resources of a growing dealer network while maintaining the local relationships and responsiveness our customers expect.

Compensation and Schedule

• $70,000 annual base salary
• $40,000 or more in annual incentive potential based on branch performance
• Monday through Friday, generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the branch across sales, service, parts, rental, and administration
• Build a team that communicates well, takes care of customers, and follows through on commitments
• Coach employees, set clear expectations, and hold the team accountable for results
• Develop strong relationships with contractors, equipment owners, and other customers throughout the Broward County market
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve productivity, and strengthen customer loyalty
• Manage the branch budget, expenses, equipment inventory, and other key performance measures
• Work with the sales team to understand the local market and pursue new business opportunities
• Resolve customer and employee concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional operation
• Partner with regional and corporate leadership while taking ownership of local decisions and results

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a practical, visible leader who is comfortable moving between the office, sales floor, parts counter, and service shop. The right person will understand that successful branch leadership comes from knowing the customers, supporting the team, and staying close to the daily operation.

Qualified candidates should have:

• At least three years of successful business or operational management experience
• Experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, truck, rental, industrial service, or a similar business
• Experience leading employees across multiple functions
• A working understanding of budgets, financial results, and performance measures
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• The ability to organize competing priorities and follow through
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required
