  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with ACT Writing scoring criteria and common challenges such as addressing all three perspectives, developing ideas beyond surface-level analysis, and maintaining organizational coherence. Adapts instruction using scored sample essays, rubric-based feedback, and targeted practice prompts. Requires minimum ACT score of 31 to support students seeking competitive writing subscores.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
