Geotechnical Intern

Dewberry is seeking a Geotechnical Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Geotechnical Engineering Department in our Bloomfield, NJ Office. Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering required
  • Previous experience in soil boring inspection and foundation design and analysis in the areas of transportation, water supply, structures and related projects is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Desire to work in a team environment

Summer Intern Program

During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.

Our interns get the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and events, including:

  • Networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business.
  • Learning about our services, projects, and clients.
