Position Title: Community Organizing Intern- (Part-Time, Unpaid)
Location: Biloxi, Mississippi
Reports to: Mississippi Statewide Organizer
Overview:
Anthropocene Alliance (A2) is the nation's largest coalition of frontline communities fighting for climate and environmental justice. We work with over 400 member communities across the U.S. to support grassroots leaders addressing pollution, climate change, and systemic environmental inequities. A2 is building State Organizing Committees (SOCs) to deepen local collaboration, expand community power, and drive policy change.
We are seeking motivated, passionate Organizing Interns to support our field team and SOCs. Interns will gain hands-on experience in grassroots organizing, campaign development, and community outreach while supporting frontline leaders in their fight for environmental justice.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist A2 Organizers and SOC leaders with outreach, meeting coordination, and member communication
Help maintain Airtable databases, event calendars, and contact lists

Assist with social media outreach, digital organizing, and community engagement
