Job description

Patient Care Coordinator
Tysons, VA
Pay from: $25 per hour
MUST:
2+ years of current Medical Receptionist or Patient Care Coordinator experience
Must have experience writing and presenting treatment plans
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be computer savvy
Must have Solid tenure
Must have recent private practice experience
Experience handling pre-authorizations highly preferred
Associate Degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
Dermatology or Plastic Surgery experience is highly preferred
DUTIES:
Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office
Following up on leads,
Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support
Greeting patients at front desk reception area, ensuring that the patient has signed in and has all necessary and up to date insurance information
Properly handling incoming calls; take complete messages with accurate information using message intake form
Scheduling patient appointments by adhering to scheduling guidelines
Verifying appointments, print schedules, update patient information as necessary
Review schedules for cancellations/No show appointments
