Job description

Store Associate:
We currently have an opportunity available for a Store Associate in our Surplus City store.  We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to assist customers at our Altoona, PA store.
Job Summary - The Store Associate completes tasks that support the Store Manager and overall customer base. These tasks may include carrying out daily procedures like restocking shelves, organizing supply rooms or managing the cash register. Their job is also to provide customer support in the Fabric/Crafts Department.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Greet customers as they enter the location.
  • Answer customer questions, respond to customer requests, and resolve customer issues.
  • Complete accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Perform inventory duties such as unloading, scanning and stocking products onto the shelves.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Store Hours: 
  • Mon - Thur., 8 am - 6 pm; Fri - 8 am  -  8 pm; Sat, 8 am - 5 pm; Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm.
  • Must be available to work weekends on a rotating basis.
