POSITION:    Associate

DEPT:             Transportation

SHIFT:          1st 

SHIFT HOURS: 5:50am - 2:20pm

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet safety, quality and efficiency requirements. 
  • Must be willing to work any shift in any department and on weekends.
  • Must be able to speak in front of a group and hold pre-shift meetings. 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must always have and maintain a Valid Forklift License   
  • Willingness and ability to motivate a team
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Analytical and PC skills (must be able to function on a PC)
  • High level of teamwork
  • Forklift certified
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently
  • Able to work overtime as needed and weekends
  • AS400 and GPCS Preferred
  • Must be able to Multi-Task and Work at a Fast Pace
  • Must have a good attendance record and be willing to promote good attendance
  • Must promote and enforce all policies which include safety
  • Must lead by example with complete fairness and ethics
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform mathematics
  • All Section Leaders must not have received or retain more than one (1) active Level 1 Counseling/Progressive Discipline within a “rolling” 12-month period.

    • Candidate must have a minimum of 3.5 points at the time of this posting and/or cannot reach 1.5 points while in the position.
  • Candidate must be eligible the day the posting comes down on: Monday, August 31, 2026 by 11:59 
  • Note: If an associate bid on a Job Posting within their home division, but the open position is on a preferable shift, the associate will not be restricted based on Attendance Points.
  • Candidate who has received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months are ineligible for this position.
