An International Airline Company is seeking Japanese Bilingual Call Center Customer Service Associates to work at their office in Torrance, CA.

  • Direct-Hire, Training Start-Date: May 2026
  • Great benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Sick Leave, Paid Holiday, Vacation Pay, Travel Benefits, etc.)
  • $23.51 / hour; Non-Exempt
  • Training Schedule (5 weeks duration): Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00 pm
  • After successful completion of Training, must be flexible to work any shift, including both Saturdays and Sundays
    • 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (including Weekends and Holidays) between: Monday - Sunday: 5:00am - 4:00pm
  • Japanese English bilingual ability is a MUST
Responsibilities of the Japanese Bilingual Call Center Customer Service Associate:
  • Offers the highest level of customer service over the phone
  • Provides customers with information regarding flights, fares, destinations, special offers, and other travel products
  • Provide timely resolution to customer inquiries, including any concerns, or issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Use the in-house system to make new flight reservations or to modify existing reservations
  • Accurately obtain documents and confirm customer's personal information for the books
  • Proactively explore and anticipate customer's future needs
  • General administrative duties: preparing reports, filing, etc. as needed
  • Other related duties and administrative duties
Requirements:
  • Bilingual language ability in English and Japanese (proficient Speaking / Reading / Writing)
  • Associates Degree or higher is preferred
  • Airline, travel, and related industry experience preferred
  • Customer service experience, call center experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, and ability to learn new computer software
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while effectively managing multiple tasks
  • Good phone manner and problem solver
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong with numbers
