Looking Glass is hiring a Grant Writer to join our Development Team!
Looking Glass is currently recruiting for an energetic, passionate, and organized Grant Writer to join our team! We need someone who can use their descriptive writing skills and is ready to be responsible for the full range of activities required to research, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, corporate and government funding sources. Please note that grant success will not be considered when evaluating the pay rate of this position, although it is a performance metric in evaluations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Course studies in Grant Writing with an emphasis on business, office administration or related field. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  1. Course studies in grant writing.
  2. An understanding of non-profit fundraising.
  3. Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
  4. Able to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments & meet deadlines.

Experience: 2-3 years progressively responsible grant writing work
Availability: Monday - Friday 32 to 40 hours/week
(working remotely with home office setup but in-office work stations will be available and necessary at times)
