Job description

Position Summary  

The Applebee's server will Delight our Guests by Exceeding Expectation by serving food and beverages to guests while accommodating the guests' needs in a courteous and timely manner following Applebee's Basic Service Steps and the Service Promise. The Server fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values.


Essential Job Functions

Primary Duties:

  • Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
  • Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
  • Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
  • Serve food and beverages using the Applebee's TEAM delivery system
  • Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
  • Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
  • Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience


Educational / Experience

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests' expectations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attitude toward teamwork
  • Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative
  • Confident, outgoing demeanor
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
