Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations in our egg processing facility. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure efficient production while maintaining the highest standards of food and employee safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and troubleshoot processing equipment

  • Supervise team to ensure quality, schedule attainment, and production efficiency

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff; oversee onboarding and training

  • Promote employee accountability and provide regular feedback

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation programs (SQF, USDA, 3rd party audits)

  • Track and maintain employee training records

  • Support performance management with HR as needed

  • Communicate goals and updates through meetings and 1:1s

  • Organize workflow and scheduling

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the plant

  • Monitor department performance and develop improvement strategies

  • Complete required reporting and log tracking

  • Promote and lead a strong safety culture

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience

  • HS diploma or equivalent

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Proficient with power tools and equipment safety

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter and team player

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Solid math skills (arithmetic, algebra, percentages)

  • Computer literacy for reporting and analysis

Preferred:

  • College degree

  • Supervisory experience in egg processing

  • Experience with pasteurizing and drying liquid egg

  • Sanitation experience (CIP, chemical handling, pump operation)
