The Role
AspenTech's Digital Grid Management team is focused on helping electric utilities improve how they monitor and manage the grid. Our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is a key solution that supports safe, reliable, and efficient power delivery. Within ADMS we have our Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS).
Your Impact
As an Associate Power Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Assist with reviews of utility business processes and help document workflows.
  • Support project teams by gathering requirements and preparing basic analysis.
  • Learn about electric distribution operations and ADMS technology to provide input during project activities.
  • Help with change management efforts by preparing materials and supporting communication.
  • Contribute to implementation tasks such as testing, documentation, and design support.

This role is a great opportunity to start your career in power systems and grid technology, working alongside experienced engineers and consultants. You'll gain exposure to utility operations, software implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field and internship experience required.

The salary range for this role is $64,200.00 - $80,200.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
