Job description

About HV Talent Group
At HV Talent Group, we help talented professionals like you connect with top employers nationwide. As a trusted recruiting partner to industry-leading companies, we focus on direct-hire placements that align with your career goals, values, and long-term growth.
Our client is seeking a Envelope & MEP Superintendent to manage critical building systems and exterior scope coordination on a Fort Myers hospitality adaptive-reuse / refurbishment assignment. This role requires strong technical field leadership across envelope, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, inspections, commissioning, sequencing, and system tie-ins.
What this role will own
  • Lead field coordination for envelope and MEP scopes, including sequencing, access, inspections, and trade handoffs.
  • Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, façade, waterproofing, roofing, glazing, and related scope interfaces.
  • Coordinate system tie-ins, shutdowns, testing, commissioning, punch work, and turnover requirements.
  • Work closely with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project leadership to resolve technical conflicts.
  • Track long-lead equipment, rough-in progress, above-ceiling coordination, inspections, and closeout documentation.

What strong candidates bring
  • Superintendent experience focused on MEP, envelope, or technically complex commercial renovation work.
  • Strong understanding of coordination between structure, envelope, interiors, and building systems.
  • Experience with hospitality, hotel, adaptive-reuse, occupied renovation, or phased retrofit work.
  • Ability to identify field conflicts early and drive resolution before they become schedule or quality issues.
  • Comfort managing inspections, commissioning, life-safety systems, waterproofing details, and finish-sensitive conditions.

Why this role matters
Envelope and MEP execution will be one of the highest-risk parts of the refurbishment. This role protects the project from system conflicts, water intrusion issues, inspection delays, commissioning problems, and costly rework.
