Job description

Overview

For more than 25 years, Weed Wranglers has helped public agencies, businesses, and private landowners manage invasive noxious and nuisance weeds throughout Colorado's Front Range. Our reputation has been built on quality work, integrity, safety, and long-term customer relationships.

As our company grows, we're investing in our residential and standardized commercial service model in order to deliver exceptional customer service while operating with the efficiency and consistency needed to grow at scale.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build that business.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for residential customers and standardized commercial accounts, guiding customers from their initial inquiry through estimating, project completion, and ongoing maintenance. This role will help shape the systems, workflows, service offerings, and customer experience that allow this segment of our business to continually improve as it grows.

Our Philosophy

At Weed Wranglers, we believe that great businesses are never finished.

We're continually refining our systems, improving our processes, embracing new technology, and looking for better ways to serve our customers. We believe continuous improvement is everyone's responsibility.

If you're energized by improving businesses as much as serving customers, you'll fit well here.

Primary Responsibilities Customer Experience & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residential and standardized commercial customers.

  • Respond promptly to phone, email, and online inquiries.

  • Prepare estimates using standardized pricing and service packages.

  • Guide customers through the sales process with professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness.

  • Build long-term customer relationships that lead to recurring maintenance agreements and referrals.

  • Partner with our production team to ensure customer expectations are consistently met before, during, and after service.

  • Help resolve customer concerns with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Building a Scalable Business

One of the most important aspects of this role is helping Weed Wranglers continually improve how we serve residential and standardized commercial customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping develop recurring maintenance programs and subscription-based service offerings.

  • Improving CRM workflows and customer communication.

  • Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks.

  • Creating and refining sales and account management standard operating procedures.

  • Recommending improvements to estimating, pricing, customer onboarding, and renewal processes.

  • Working with leadership to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Continually looking for ways to make the business more scalable while maintaining exceptional service.

Business Development
  • Nurture relationships with existing customers through proactive communication and renewal conversations.

  • Generate new business through referrals, customer relationships, and selective outbound prospecting.

  • Represent Weed Wranglers professionally within the communities we serve.

  • Identify opportunities to expand services that provide additional value to customers.

Qualifications Required
  • Experience in account management, customer success, estimating, or inside sales within a field service environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field related to this role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Comfort learning and utilizing CRM platforms and business software.

  • Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability.

  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred
  • Experience in a green services industry such as landscaping, tree care, irrigation, or vegetation management.

  • Experience improving workflows, customer experience, or operational processes.

  • Experience using CRM systems and workflow automation tools.

We believe this role is best suited for someone who understands the unique relationship between customers, office operations, and field production. Experience in businesses that deliver work through field crews will provide valuable context for succeeding in this position.

Compensation
  • $85,000 to $115,000 base salary

  • Significant profit sharing program

Benefits
  • 401(k) with company match

  • Health insurance

  • Paid holidays

  • Paid time off

  • Professional development and continuing education

  • Cell phone allowance

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role isn't measured solely by sales.

Successful candidates will help Weed Wranglers become easier to do business with, more responsive to customers, and more efficient as we grow.

You'll be successful if you:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience.

  • Build long-term customer relationships.

  • Increase recurring maintenance revenue.

  • Help simplify and standardize how we deliver services.

  • Identify opportunities to improve systems before problems occur.

  • Embrace technology and automation to improve efficiency.

  • Work collaboratively across departments to continuously improve the business.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys building as much as selling.

The right person is naturally curious and continually looks for ways to improve the way work gets done. They enjoy solving problems, creating better systems, and finding opportunities to make life easier for both customers and coworkers.

You don't need to have every answer on day one. We value people who ask thoughtful questions, learn quickly, take ownership of their work, and enjoy contributing ideas that make the organization stronger over time.

Why Weed Wranglers?

We're proud of the reputation we've built over the past 25 years, but we're even more excited about where we're headed.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape an important part of our company's future. You'll work directly with leadership to build a scalable business centered around exceptional customer service, continuous improvement, and long-term customer relationships.

If the idea of helping build something better excites you, we'd love to hear from you.
