Camp Bow Wow in Charleston, SC is looking for one camp counselor (dog attendant) to join our 19 person strong team. We are located on 1745 Clements Ferry Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

Position Overview:

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a key role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of the dogs in our care. You will be responsible for supervising play areas, engaging with dogs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is an ideal role for individuals who love working with animals and enjoy being active.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor dogs in play areas to ensure safe and positive interactions.
  • Engage with dogs through play, enrichment activities, and socialization.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment by cleaning play areas, kennels, and other facilities.
  • Provide food, water, and medication to dogs as needed.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes for daycare and boarding clients.
  • Monitor dogs' behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Assist with grooming sessions and other care services as needed.
  • Communicate with pet parents about their dog's stay and provide updates.
