CDL Driver (Class A) amp; Installer - Hourly Pay
Swing Kingdom is the leading provider of the world’s most exciting and innovative playsets! Our mission is to bring adventure to backyards and communities across the United States with safe, durable, and maintenance-free playsets. As a family-owned manufacturer, we take pride in designing and building high-quality, affordable playsets that children of all ages can enjoy.
We’re looking for a skilled Class A CDL Driver (OTR) and Installer to join our team! If you have experience operating a truck and trailer, this role offers an exciting opportunity to travel across the country while delivering and installing our industry-leading playsets. If you love the open road, this job is for you—because at Swing Kingdom, the world is your office!
Duties and responsibilities
  • Transport and delivery of playsets and accessories to residential and commercial locations.
  • Contact customers on the way to the job site to confirm delivery amp; installation appointments.
  • Unload playsets and accessories from trailer and transport to the job site.
  • Install playsets and accessories at customer locations (approximately 40% of the time).
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner at all times.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and provide solutions.
  • Perform basic truck maintenance as scheduled and needed. Communicate with management on issues.
  • Communicate with the logistics manager on a regular basis.
  • Successfully report to work at varying start times in order to drive to the customer’s home and commercial locations for the delivery and installations
  • Responsible for finding return loads from the job boards.
  • Other job-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A is required
  • Proven safe driving record and DOT compliance.
  • Willingness to work on the road and have overnights 4-5 nights weekly
  • Must be 21 years or older for this position
  • Woodworking and/or construction experience a plus.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Results driven with a positive and professional approach.
