Registered Nurse

Texas Health Stephenville seeks to hire a Registered Nurse to work fulltime dayshift in PACU PreOp PostOp Location: 411 North Belknap, Stephenville, TX 76401 Work Schedule: Day shift; full-time (36 hours) 0645 - 1615 *call required evening/weekends/holidays on a rotating basis*

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville (THS) is a full-service, 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. The hospital offers surgical services, women's and infants' services, advanced diagnostic imaging, sleep lab and a wound care program. Texas Health Stephenville has received accreditation as a Level IV trauma center, Cycle III Chest Pain Center by Society of Chest Pain Centers and Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The hospital was named a Baby-Friendly Hospital by the World Health Organization and received Pathway to Excellence® designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Responsibilities will be to function as a scrub but will also need to circulate PRN*

Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing Req Master's Degree Nursing Pref

Experience: 3 Years Perinatal Maternal Experience including Labor and Delivery Req

Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Req And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Req And IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire Pref And Other OB or Maternal Certified RN Upon Hire Pref

Skills: Effective leadership and interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills in English; advanced knowledge of current professional and health care issues and nursing practice. Experience in project management. Computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access.
