About the Opportunity:


Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineer to join their innovative team in Fargo, ND. Specializing in the design, analysis, and certification of aircraft medical solutions, this position offers the chance to work on real-world aviation challenges. The role is perfect for those who are eager to own projects from concept to release and wish to see their solutions make a tangible impact in the aviation industry. With a balance of independent work and collaborative problem-solving, this opportunity aligns with engineers who are looking to continuously develop and apply a wide range of technical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design and development of parts and assemblies, from initial concept to final release.
  • Perform structural stress analyses in support of STC certification and author related documentation.
  • Tackle undefined problems, identify root causes, and engineer practical, certifiable solutions.
  • Create detailed engineering documentation and assembly instructions for manufacturing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solutions perform effectively in real aircraft environments.
  • Engage with customers and field service teams to enhance product performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Preferred: Experience with Autodesk Inventor and a background in aircraft systems, aviation products, or aerospace manufacturing.
