Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and recovery goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and rehabilitation techniques that promote healing, decrease pain, and restore mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient goals and optimize outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the therapy department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, from children to seniors, all dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, tendon injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their unique challenges will be essential in providing compassionate care and improving their overall experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist, in full compliance with Texas regulations.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills to accurately evaluate patient conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills to foster patient relationships and enhance teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic physical therapy, whether through clinical rotations or professional practice, is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, exercise regimens, and rehabilitation technologies.
• Experience in a team-oriented healthcare environment, showcasing an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

At Motion Works Physical Therapy Services, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
