Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) โ€“ Preventive Wellness Derm Clinic (Corporate)
** Location:** Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
** Job Type:** Independent Contractor (1099).
** Pay Rate:** $130/hr.
** Schedule:** 8/25-8/27, 7am- 5:30pm.

Full Description:
A workplace wellness screening program is seeking a Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite within a professional workplace environment in Pittsburgh, PA.

This role focuses on preventive care initiatives delivered during scheduled workplace wellness clinic events. Providers typically see up to 10 patients per clinic day and must be comfortable practicing autonomously while making independent clinical decisions within their scope of practice. Clinic events are scheduled periodically as part of workplace wellness programming and are not part of a fixed schedule. Administrative coordination is provided for scheduling, patient flow, and clinic logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare the mobile clinic space within corporate environments to support employee wellness initiatives.
  • Perform skin checks and skin cancer screenings, consult with patients to evaluate dermatological concerns, and provide appropriate patient education.
  • Document patient encounters and screening results in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Provide recommendations for follow-up care and refer patients to dermatology specialists when appropriate.
  • Deliver patient care independently while maintaining a professional and efficient clinic workflow.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania ** .**
  • Active basic life support (BLS/ ACLS) CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
  • A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
  • Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Patient education driven.
  • Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional care standards.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Pittsburgh, PA.
