Workplace Project Specialist

Join a highly collaborative team at HATCI where innovation meets hands-on execution. Our General Affairs team is looking for a Workplace Project Speciast to join us in our Superior Township office. In this role, you'll provide real-time visibility into site conditions, proactively identifies issues, and supports the successful delivery of both operational improvements and project-based work. This role works cross-functionally with facilities, IT, security, EHSS, finance, procurement, and administrative teams to align priorities and maintain continuity across multiple concurrent initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to balance strategic awareness and hands-on execution in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Coordinate workplace-related projects, including space reconfigurations, minor construction, furniture installations, and facility enhancements.
  • Support capital projects through coordination, tracking, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage assigned project scopes, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Perform day-to-day operational support, including site assessments, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain project documentation and administrative processes such as, tracking action items, coordinating approvals, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Maintain and organize project records, including space requests, floor plans, reports, occupancy data, and team files.
  • Assist with space planning and programming efforts across departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Provide additional planning and operational support as needed.

    • Basic knowledge of construction processes, vendor coordination, and project tracking tools.
    • Experience working in research, corporate, or technical environments is a plus.
