Job description

A Workover Rig Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and leadership of their assigned rig including managing staff and work schedules efficiently and maintaining productivity standards while working closely with customers ensuring services are being safely provided
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plans delivery of service including review of equipment, supplies, and customer specification in preparation for scheduled jobs.
  • Supervises daily field operations for workover crew team(s) and ensures quality delivery to meet customer demands
  • Manages & ensures workover crews performance to meet customer demands
  • Weighs in on hiring, firing, evaluation, and discipline of workover crew members
  • Ensures quality customer relationships on location
  • Manages the performance of the workover crew in the various duties of the rig operation
  • Attends and participates in safety meetings
  • Understands and makes discretionary decisions to ensure compliance with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required.
  • Reports any and all incidents immediately.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Performs other duties as directed by management.

Work Environment
This job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme wind, rain, cold, heat, etc.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work as job duties demand.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Class A or B CDL preferred

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of previous workover experience preferred
  • Previous oilfield experience preferred
