Job Title: Dog Daycare Kennel Attendant
Location: Hounds Town Atlanta Smyrna
Reports To: Shift Supervisor
Position Summary
Hounds Town Atlanta Smyrna is seeking a dependable, energetic, and dog-loving Kennel Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in our daycare, boarding, and grooming facility while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, and passionate about animal care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Supervise dogs during daycare playgroups and monitor behavior to ensure safe interactions. 
  •  Feed, water, medicate (as directed), and care for boarding dogs. 
  •  Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, feeding areas, and common spaces throughout the day. 
  •  Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or stress and report concerns immediately. 
  •  Safely separate dogs when necessary and follow playgroup protocols. 
  •  Assist with check-in and check-out of daycare and boarding guests. 
  •  Maintain accurate feeding, medication, and behavior records. 
  •  Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with pet parents. 
  •  Assist with laundry, dishes, waste disposal, and other housekeeping duties. 
  •  Follow all company safety procedures and animal handling policies. 
  •  Support team members and help ensure smooth daily operations. 
Qualifications
  •  Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required. 
  •  Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
