Join Our Pack as a Dog Daycare Attendant at Barklyn Heights!


Do you have a passion for pups and a knack for keeping tails wagging? Barklyn Heights Dog Daycare in Cleveland, OH, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. If you love working with dogs and have at least one year of experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!


Responsibilities
  • Supervise groups of dogs throughout the day and monitor their behavior and interactions.
  • Safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments.
  • Provide dogs with attention, exercise, enrichment, and basic care.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary daycare environment, including cleaning kennels, play areas, and common areas.
  • Follow all safety, cleaning, and animal-care procedures.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and clients.
  • Ensure dogs are safely transitioned between play areas, rest areas, and pickup/drop-off.
  • Assist with feeding, administering approved medications, and other basic care as needed.
  • Report any injuries, illnesses, behavioral concerns, or unusual incidents promptly to management.
Requirements
  • Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
  • 1 year experience working with or caring for dogs is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
  • Must be able to remain calm, attentive, and patient in a busy dog daycare environment.
  • Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and safely handling dogs as needed.
