Job description

The Ranch Pet Resort is looking for a kennel tech to join our team!
This is an entry level position; previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Feeding, watering and picking up after animals
- Administering medications
- Keeping cages cleaned and sanitized
- Reporting on animal's condition to supervisor
- Taking animals for walks
- Supervising group play
The right candidate must be dependable & punctual. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as those are our busiest times. Love of animals and the ability to anticipate their needs is necessary for this job. Must be comfortable working with ALL breeds of dogs, cats, and other small animals. Position requires patience and the ability to handle difficult behavior in a gentle & effective manor, as the job can be challenging at times.
Must be in good health, with the ability to lift & work with large breeds of dogs, and no problems bending, crouching, reaching or being on your feet for long periods of time.
