Job description

We are seeking a persistent, organized, detail-oriented, and values-driven professional to join our team as a temporary Compliance Specialist. This role reports directly to the Compliance Manager and regularly collaborates with the onboarding and operations departments.

Weekly hours: 40 per week (Required Overtime, which includes weekend hours, 6 weeks out of the year)
Shift: 13:00 - 22:00 EST (12:00 - 21:00 CST, 11:00 - 20:00 MST, 10:00 - 19:00 PST)

  • Ensure compliance records are properly stored, maintained, and retained according to company policies and retention requirements
  • Perform quality control reviews of incident and accident documentation and follow up on missing, conflicting, or incomplete information
  • Verify that applicable evidence and supporting documentation related to incidents has been properly collected and documented
  • Review ongoing monitoring alerts and ensure appropriate escalation and documentation occurs
  • Support compliance-related driver offboarding activities, including records updates and unenrollment from monitoring systems
  • Conduct outreach to eligible former drivers to support rehire and retention efforts
  • Facilitate virtual trainings for new and returning drivers as needed
  • Respond to compliance-related inquiries and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Operations, Recruitment, and Onboarding teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants must have:
  • At least 2 years of experience in compliance, onboarding, operations, administrative support, quality assurance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing or inconsistent information
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Comfortable conducting high-volume calls, texts, and administrative outreach
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems, spreadsheets, and platforms simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • At least 1 year of remote work experience
  • High school diploma or GED
