Job description

Description

Hey there! We're Edelman, and we're looking for a Maintenance Technician Rockstar.

At Edelman, we don't just "check boxes"-we ensure the safety and comfort of the families in our community. We are a "World Class" organization looking for Level 1 Technicians who are eager to learn, serve, and grow. If you are looking for a company that values your time, provides a flexible schedule, and treats you like family, you're in the right place.

You Should Apply If:
  • You're a Helper at Heart. You love meeting new people and solving their problems to make their day better.
  • You're Humbly Confident. You are ready to learn the ins and outs of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems from the best in the business.
  • You're a Professional. You show up on time, look the part, and treat every customer's home with total respect.
  • You're Flexible. You enjoy a schedule that keeps things interesting and doesn't trap you in a 9-to-5 cubicle.
  • You Want Growth. This isn't just a job; it's the first step in a 50-year career path with a company that wants to see you succeed.
You Shouldn't Apply If:
  • You don't like talking to people or providing "World Class" customer service.
  • You aren't comfortable working on a variety of systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing).
  • You prefer a rigid, unchanging routine every single day.
Your Daily Mission:
  • Service Excellence: Assist in providing high-quality maintenance and service calls on residential systems according to Edelman standards.
  • The Customer Experience: Provide homeowners with a high-quality, "World Class" experience from the moment you walk through the door.
  • Continuous Learning: Work under the Service Manager to sharpen your skills and become an expert in the trades.
  • The Edelman Standard: Maintain a clean workspace and ensure every maintenance task is completed with integrity and precision.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • The Vibe: A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a heart for service.
  • The Commitment: Readiness to work a flexible schedule (weekdays and weekends) between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
  • The Drive: A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check/drug screen.
  • The Basics: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with residential maintenance.
Why Edelman?
  • Competitive Pay: Get rewarded for your service, $18-$25 per hour.
  • Career Advancement: We don't just give you a job; we give you a path. We'll help you develop the skills to move from maintenance to high-level service.
  • Stability: A consistent schedule with a supportive team that has your back.
  • The Loyalty Program: We think long-term. Our loyalty program runs for 50 years-the longer you stay, the more you earn.
  • Total Protection: Health insurance (we cover a portion!), Vision, Dental, and a $25,000 Life Insurance policy at no cost to you.
  • Future Focus: 401k through Vanguard with a 4% company match.
  • The Perks: Access to "Access Perks" for discounts on travel, food, and shopping, plus voluntary benefits like Short-Term Disability.
Our DNA (The Edelman Way)

Our mission is to make the world a better place, one home at a time. From the Heartland to Florida, we are rooted in faith, family, and a commitment to excellence. We don't just hire for skills; we hire for heart.

  • We Are Solutions Driven: We embrace challenges with creativity and determination. If a system is acting up, we find the most efficient way to fix it.
  • We Are Radically Honest: Integrity is our heartbeat. We foster a culture of transparency-we do the right thing for the customer every single time.
  • We Are Humbly Confident: Our expertise gives us confidence, but we approach every home with humility. We celebrate our successes and learn from our mistakes.
