Job description

OVERVIEW
The Process Laborer may be assigned to a variety of process or cleaning positions. The Process Laborer may be assigned to any station or location in the Process Department. This position requires continuous heavy labor activities. Assignments may include repetitive hand, arm, and body movements.
Responsibilities/Duties
  • Position performs necessary function required to process sugar.
  • Job tasks could include working around hot liquors and water, working around pumps and pipes, maintain a log book.
  • Operates cherry picker, forklift, and/or pallet jack.

Required Experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Required Qualifications
  • Rotating shifts, day, swing, and graveyard, on a bi-weekly basis is required. Overtime is required on a daily and weekly basis as scheduled.
  • Positions require standing and walking 6-8+ hours per day, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to grasp, push, and pull.
  • Position is required to wear PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection and hard hat.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic math calculations.
  • Maintain neat & clean workplace.
  • Work under Supervisor direction.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance is required.

Hourly Pay Rate:
$27.10 / hour
