ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handler - Warehouse DistributionPicking Case goods for shipment
Shift: 12 hour Shift Rotation 6:45pm - 7am
Safety Responsibilities- Follow all safety procedures at all times
- Comply with OSHA and hazardous material regulations
- Follow all plant and department safety rules
- Operate forklifts and complete required inspections
- Maintain forklift batteries (charging, filling, changing as needed)
- Operate dock equipment (manual and automatic) and report any problems
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Maintain floors, aisles, equipment, and common areas
- Load and unload trailers safely
- Transport materials between warehouse areas
- Pull, stage, and ship customer orders
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and goods
- Use barcode scanners and computer systems for inventory transactions
- Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory procedures
