Job description

SVS Group is currently looking to hire an Experienced Reach Truck Operator for one of our best Ice Cream Manufacturing Plants in Glendale, AZ. This is a 2nd shift position. You will have typical Reach Truck Operating Job Duties to include:

  • Able to safely operate a Reach Truck.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of warehousing.
  • Report all safety hazards and alert management of unsafe work practices.
  • Perform all freezer duties.
  • Able to respond to frequent changes.
  • Ensure FIFO rotation is always applied for all products (stocking).
  • Follow all warehouse and production S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing company goals.

Requirements:

  • You must have at least 3 years of experience on a standup/reach truck.
  • Reach truck certification.
  • Ability to stand for a full shift and work overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Solid reading skills.
  • Ability to understand written, electronic, and verbal instructions/directions.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Initiative to work with minimal instruction or direction.
  • Able to move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Able to work and withstand cold and humid temperatures.
  • Work in freezer environment.
  • We are currently hiring for 2nd Shift / start time 3:00 pm- Monday - Friday (flexible to work Saturdays if needed)
