A very busy and popular full-service pet careย facility seeks a reliable, organized, detail-orientedย individual to join the retailย team. ย We are a unique and modern environment with a great teamย of compassionate, animal-loving, customer-service oriented people who are highly motivated to provide the very best in pet care services.

Qualifications
  • Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers
  • Develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue
  • Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
  • Work with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows. Lunch and Learns.
  • Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable

Qualifications and Skills

    • 5+ years proven experience working in a customer service field.
    • A friendly, warm and pleasant personality with excellent people skills.
    • Exceptional and professional phone etiquette
    • Able to work harmoniously in a team.
    • Must be available to work Saturdays,ย Sundays and Holidays. Not negotiable.
    • Possess a reliable means of transportation to and from work.

    -Ability to move 40 lbs

    -Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language

    -Ability to act with a professional demeanor at all times, maintaining a positive attitude

    -Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm for pet care

    The basic demands of the job include, but are not limited to:ย 

    -Ability to educate the client of the Company's belief in the importance of pet'sย 

    ย participation in activities while away from home.

    -Ability to sell additional services to new and existing clients (quantify)

    -Tracking daily sales and entering in database

    -Maintaining established performance benchmarks

    -Working events professionally and positively

    -Any other duties assigned by the Manager, Supervisor or Team Leaderย
